In the afternoon on Saturday we went up to Boulder City Hall for a picnic. Rick dad was in charge of a table at the picnic and he was able to Wyatt up on a bucket ride. I only wish Wyatt was older so he could remember this cool memory with his grandpa. For those of you who don’t know Rick’s dad is an electrical engineer for Boulder City, so it is fitting to go on a bucket ride with him. Rick and I were able to go up as well, I would have to say I am glad I don’t have that job!
Right below Rick’s parent’s house in Boulder there a pretty neat park. They have a man made fishing pond. Right below the fishing pond there is a man made pond to race remote control boats. We didn’t take Rick’s boat out this time instead we took Wyatt to the park. I like this park because the entire base is covered with this nice cushy material, Wyatt can fall all he wants without getting hurt. Right next to the playground is this cute splash park, which was very tempting as it was almost 100 degrees when we were out there. Needless to say we have acclimatized to the perfect weather of southern California and the heat was quite the shock to my system.
