The last half of June

I have had a friend tell me that pregnancy generally means death to a blog. I am going to claim that is what has happened to our blog, but in my current nesting state I feel the need to bring the blog up to date. So here is the beginning of what will hopefully be a lot of posts over the next couple days.

ALASKA TRIP

In June Rick spent a week in Sitka, Alaska with his program director. It was a long week (for me), there was no cell phone service and I am pretty sure I talked to Rick for a total of 5 minutes. He was supposedly there for work, he will have to tell you more about that, it seems like they spent a good amount of time hiking and fishing, as is evident by the 20 lbs of fish in my freezer.

FATHER"S DAY

Rick came home the day before Father's Day, the boys and I were pretty excited to see him. I tried to take some pictures of them together, but Owen is such a lightweight with staying awake after church.

The day was spent telling pirate stories in the hammock.
