This Lake was by far my favorite find of the summer. It is small fresh water lake in Simsbury. Much closer than the actual beach and free on weekdays. My neighbor had been telling me how awesome it was for months. Rick was on general surgery and had a random Thursday off so we checked it out. I think this may have been Clara's first encounter with sand.
It was perfect weather, perfect company, basically the perfect day. The only down side was I forgot to put Owen's swim diaper on and his regular diaper ballooned to 5 times+ the regular size to the point he could not walk, it was pretty funny until we saw the rash it gave his little legs.
*As a side note aren't these special diapers to show your Olympic spirit awesome!
