At the end of July we went to Utah for my sister, Suzy's wedding. Wyatt was a big help, I should have taken a picture of us moving around airports, he rolled his full size carry on the entire time, with his backpack.
We went to the fountains at the Gateway.
Here are the Cannon ladies, minus Karen (who I think is taking the picture), after Suzy went through the temple.
We admired Lisa's Garden and had a lot of fun with cousins. Apparently shirts are optional at the Halverson house.
Perhaps the best parts of the trip were the visits with my Grandpa Cannon, I we were able to visit him everyday we were there. Wyatt was even able to experience the player piano.
The 24th of July was a big day. It started off with a round of golf for the big boys, breakfast, and bowling for the rest of us.
Then there was the water fight. Rick was not really meaning to get wet, but then ended up being the main attacker and attackee.
Then once Rick was wet he decided he would commit on the slip and slide.
The guys made sure their ties would all work for the next day. Then the groom, Scott, was sent away so we could have our traditional family program topped off with my Dad playing the Moonlight Sonata for Suzy...
...and then since it was the 24th of July, and we were in Utah we topped off the night with fireworks.
The main event was on the 25th. Everything went really well and Suzy and Scott seemed really happy. Here are a few shots from the day.
The boys at the temple.
Suzy with all the nieces and nephews.
Wyatt having fun with Jake and Isaac.
My sisters.

The whole Cannon Clan, I love that Rick and Wyatt are standing the exact same way.
As the happy couple was leaving the reception I saw something I had never seen before. Scott's friends had decorated their car and the best part was there was a guy hiding under balloons in the back seat that just about scared them to death. Rick actually got it on video, but you can't see their reactions as well as I would have hoped.

We had a great time with the family all here with us for the wedding. It is hard to believe that all five of our girls are married and happy. We love you all. Great blog, Janae.
It was wonderful to have you with us for this special event. These are great pictures and the basis for long lasting memories.
I am so glad someone got Logan jumping out of the car on video. It was so fun to see it again.
