Swim Lessons

For the past six weeks Wyatt and I have been taking a Mommy and Me swim class at the YMCA. Wyatt has been doing really well and loves jumping in from the side of the pool. We have been taking this class with our friends, Ava and Nancy. Now when Wyatt is in the bath he will lie on his stomach, kick his legs, flap his arms, and ask when he gets to go swimming with Ava. Rick was still recovering yesterday and came to our class to take some pictures. Don't laugh too hard at the swim cap, unfortunately they are required.Rick has been doing well, he even went back to school today. Sitting still hurts, but he is definitely getting around a lot more. Wyatt has been taking good care of his Dad. He always wants to climb up on the bed and take Rick's temperature. They have also become reading buddies. Only Daddy can read Wyatt his "letter" book. I tried to snuggle up with them and Wyatt told me to leave. I have to admit I was pretty sad; Wyatt and I have always been reading buddies. It turns out Wyatt just likes certain books read by Rick and others read by me, we will always have Lama Lama Red Pajama and that makes me feel a lot better.

That is too cute seeing Wyatt take Rick's temperature. Hope Rick continues to improve. No lifting can really hamper a move. Hope you have lots of willing helpers.

Wyatt's hair is getting long and super blond. I think he will always be an LA baby even when you guys move to Conneticut. How are preparations for the move going?

Glad to hear Rick's recovering well. I was wondering about the about the swim cap;) But don't worry- you look great regardless.

Im laughing at the swim cap ;) I just couldn't help myself. I really need to get Sofia into swim lessons. I need to talk to you about when and where. Are you doing them at the Y? So, are we still doing the baby swap at the end of this month? Thanks again for that. I was able to totally relax knowing she was in such good hands. And you were able to get her to sleep!!! She never does that!
