So we are now less than three weeks away from the big move! I have to admit that the idea of the move is stressing me out, so to try to block out that stress I am dealing with it by trying to stay really busy. So here is our week in review.
We went to Disneyland with Grandma and Grandpa Shamo.

Rick's Dad has been having some dental work done by Rick, so they have been coming down every few weeks, this was their last visit.

Saturday was our last dental wives, Girl's night out (no memory card in the camera so thanks to Ashley for sending the pictures). We went and saw Pillow Talk.

Thanks Ashley for organizing. What am I going to do without these girls??? I can't think about it makes me too sad, so moving on.

Wyatt's hair has been getting long, really long, and crazy, so I finally cut it on Sunday.

After: (he was not very happy for the after shot)

On Sunday night we were able to go celebrate with JT and Britney. JT graduated from Southwestern Law School. Congratulations
Steeles! We wish we could have been in Vegas to celebrate with Clint who graduated from Medical School. Congratulations
Salos!
On Monday we spent the day at the beach.

Wyatt loved the waves and went in a little too deep and got completely knocked over, he told the ocean to not hit and say sorry. Then he walked up and he laid down on his towel to dry off.

That night we had a farewell dinner at the Institute for Rick's dental class.

On Wednesday we had a great baby shower for my good friend
Marissa (this would be one of those times with my camera, but no memory card). Then that night Rick and I and some friends from dental school went to the midnight showing of Indiana Jones. It was a good movie, the ending was strange, but I would still recommend it.
Thursday I was a little crazy. Wyatt and I went and walked around the La Brea Tar Pits. He really liked the big elephants (woolly mammoths).

Then we went to the most amazing place.
The Boone Children's museum at LACMA West. It is amazing!!! I cannot believe I just found it.

It is a GIANT room with painting tables, crafts everywhere, people cleaning up after you, building blocks, and it is completely FREE!!!

Wyatt was in heaven and could have spent all day there. Here he is showing off his masterpieces.

We are definitely finding time to go back there before we move. Then it was straight to the Skirball museum to meet our friends from story time.

We went here a month ago and were so excited to be able to go back. The
Noah's Ark exhibit is also free (on Thursdays), but you need to get tickets about a month ahead of time. Wyatt found a puppet llama and thought it was pretty cool (his favorite book is Llama, Llama Red Pajama)

Friday we were able to see Logan graduate from John Tracy Clinic in the morning

and then we went to Disneyland (again no memory card so no pictures). Wyatt stayed awake for the fireworks and is still talking about how fun they were.
Saturday, Rick took some time off from studying to have what may be our last date for a little while. JT and Britney came out from Whittier and we had a great marathon date. We went to the temple,

dinner at Bucca di Beppo,

and then we went and saw Iron Man. It has been a busy week. I think the next couple weeks will only get more hectic. My family starts arriving tomorrow for Rick's graduation a week from today, then we are off to Utah for my sister
Karen's wedding, back to LA to pack (I haven't packed a single box), and Rick will take the USMLE, then we start our drive across the country. We have decided to try to camp along the way, maybe we are crazy. I am still trying to work out the logistics of where we will stop, but hopefully it will be fun.
