It seems like Wyatt has been changing so fast lately. Everyday he becomes more and more capable; he sure is leaving babyhood in a hurry. This past week Wyatt has started to really use utensils. He has always liked to hold on to spoons while he shoveled food in his face with his hands, but this week he was introduced to the fork. He loves it! It did not take him long to figure out the stabbing motions to stick the food on the end and now he eats everything with a fork. Here he is eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a fork (that’s right. no nut allergies, YEAH!!!). Believe it or not this is actually a lot less messy than just with his hands. Wyatt’s hair is looking crazy long in these pictures - I think we are going to buzz it this weekend. In addition to improving his motor skills Wyatt has also been excelling at his exploring skills. Wyatt loves to open and shut things; door, drawers, cupboards, books, microwaves, refrigerators, ovens, etc… He often shuts the door to his room and I let him play in there by himself for a few minutes before going in (don't worry his room is totally baby proofed). Today he combined his love of opening and closing things with his love of pulling clothes out of drawers or closets. I walked in to find him like this.

That's such a cute picture of Wyatt in the cupboard!!!! Lucas loves forks too. He always has to have a fork to eat his chicken nuggets.
I love the bottom picture of Wyatt. That is classic!!!
Super cute! I love the last picture!

Janae the pictures did not come through with this blog. I do not know why.
I think Wyatt gets cuter and cuter all the time! I love the last picture with him in the cupboard!
Your stories and pictures are fantastic.

Dad
I love that picture of Wyatt in the cupboard. He is such a boy.
He is so big. I dont want Brooke to get that big as fast as Wyatt did. Did he poke his eyes with the fork? I would be terrified.
