Halloween and my birthday

It seems like there is something about Halloween that makes is pretty normal to celebrate multiple times.  Our first celebrations was before my parents left town our ward had a Trunk or Treat

 My little ladybug.
The Sheriff and his trusty steed.
The last minute ghost.  Wyatt and Owen were all set to repeat Batman and Robin from last year since Halloween was cancelled, but having arrived home the night before the trunk or treat we quickly realized that Batman with a cast and splint was not going to work.  Thankfully my friend Jenn came through with this awesome last minute costume.

Wyatt's Halloween parade at school.

Her shirt says "so cute it's scary" and oh boy that is true.
Ready for the neighborhood block party.
Our neighborhood has a block party with dinner before trick or treating that is awesome, then they all agree trick or treating starts at 5 pm so we were home and in bed my 7:30.
Wyatt really went crazy this year and hit a lot of houses.
Three very happy kids with their candy.

Growing up I somehow could not remember my birthday so I would always tell people it was 3 days after Halloween.  Having said that I guess it is appropriate to report on the two together.  It was a great day.  Rick came home from rounding with flowers and made me breakfast.  We went out to dinner at Red Robin.
Rick was on call all day, but did not have to go in until after dinner, so that was the best gift in and of itself.

My other boys took good care of me when Rick left, check them out singing "Happy Birthday" below.
