2 months old

Owen is two months and two weeks old. Today was his check up and his stats are:
height: 24.5 in; 95th plus percentile
weight: 16 lbs 4 oz; 95th plus percentile (pretty much off the charts in weight)
It is crazy how different siblings can be, Wyatt was definitely at the other end of the spectrum.

I did remember Owen on the actual two month day and took these pictures, but forgot about them until his checkup today reminded me.

Owen is a great baby. He is what Rick describes as "chill," he hardly ever cries and is pretty neutral most of the time. The concerned look he had constantly for the first few weeks has disappeared. When he smiles he smiles with his eyes and I love it, you can't help but smile back. He especially loves his daddy and smiles whenever Rick comes home. Sleep wise he is doing alright. I have had one night of being able to sleep 8 consecutive hours, but for the most part he is consistent around six (maybe seven if I am lucky) hours at once, he is not one to like missing meal time. The best sleeping habit he has is when you lay him down in his crib at night he just lays down, talks to himself for a couple minutes then he is out, no crying. He LOVES his swing and will happily stay in it for hours, which is super helpful for getting things done around the house. He is pretty strong and has good head control. He can lift himself up pretty high when he is on his tummy.
Wyatt LOVES his little brother!!! Wyatt has given Owen the nickname of "Owie" because he has an "O" in his name. *Yes, those are Wyatt feet under his chin, he is one flexible little kid.

Wyatt is constantly talking to Owen and then telling me what Owen is saying back to him. My favorite is when he sneaks up and whispers "I Love you" in Owen's ear, some other favorites are "you are so cute little Owie" and "Owie, my feet are bigger than yours."

That is so funny, Gavin's stats are right about the same over 26 lbs and 25 in. However you are so lucky I am grateful to get one four hour span of sleep a night. Lately it has been every 30 min to a half hour he wakes up crying. But at least I only have one to take care of. Looks like you are doing great with two!

I can't believe how big he's getting! Though I think we were right about in the same place on the growth curve and boy did my arms get tired lugging that boy around (thankfully he's running everywhere on his own now)! I love how cute Wyatt is with him, so precious. Hope you guys are doing well and thanks for the great update.
