Before:

There are no during pictures of this room. The process in this room was the same as the living room: steam and scrape wallpaper, paint ceiling, prime walls, paint walls, paint trim, change outlets from 2 to 3 prong plugs.
AFTER:
with flash

without flash (I need to get some picture taking skills)

I really love this room, I don't think my weak pictures really do it justice. Wyatt loves his room too and wanted his picture taken with his planes that he helped me paint.

Things left to do in this room include: Get Wyatt a bed frame (he has been sleeping with the box springs and mattress right on the floor, but at least now there is a real comforter), maybe a rug, change the light switch, and I have some letters to paint and hang his name above his dresser. I realize now that I did not take a picture of that side of the room, I guess that leaves something to look forward to. Also, Wyatt's room and the living room need new windows, they are leaking and cracked so those will be changed in the next month or so, hopefully nothing else breaks until after our tax refund.
I really do love our house. I love that we are fixing and changing everything, it makes me feel like we are a part of it. I am already thinking of how hard it will be to leave it behind in 6 years.

Yea Janae! I am so glad that you are blogging again. Your house looks great so I can understand your lack of time to blog. Remodels take a lot of time, but you are right -- it makes the place your own. It took John and I quite a while to repaint everything when we moved into this house. We still find projects to do to make our house better. It is a never ending battle. It is rewarding when you finish a job however. Keep up the good work!
It looks so cute. I love the little airplanes! You guys are doing a great job, I am totally impressed.
I love the room! You guys did such an amazing job -- and it turned out so nice!
Janae, wow!! Look at all you did! I think Wyatt's room is my favorite...what a change. And I love the little planes. I think I will plan a trip out to CT in June to come and see it in person. I'm still waiting for the before and after pictures of the kitchen! Can't wait.
You are certainly doing a fantastic job with your many efforts.
