This past weekend we headed to Vegas with some of our friends from UCLA for a weekend of fun. We tried to get an early start on Friday and made fairly good time on the way to Vegas (only a little over five hours on a Friday night) arriving at midnight. I drove the Jeep both ways, and for those of you who know me and my love of driving you will know that this was a huge accomplishment. Saturday we woke up to find that a big waffle party was happening at Rick's parents house, it was great food and gave us energy to head out to the lake. Rick and I were a little rusty (Rick wasn't really, but we claimed he was). The boys then headed golfing while us ladies hit the outlets.

The main reason behind the trip was the Rascal Flatts concert. Celeste and I bought some tickets off ebay and found ourselves on the last row, but we were in the center so they ended up being pretty good seats. I thought the concert was awesome! I am a huge country music fan. In my opinion it is such emotional music, it can have you laughing and dancing one minute and crying the next (I think Celeste feels the same way haha). After meeting up with those that didn't go to the concert we danced for a few minutes at the Mandalay Bay and then headed home. The next morning we were up early and headed home in time to make it to some of our church meetings. Overall it was a great trip. Thanks to everyone that came along!!
