Rick finished his finals on Thursday afternoon and we were ready to celebrate. We had to stay fairly close to home this weekend since Rick is on AC primary duty so we spent Friday and Saturday at the beach. Friday was a little cloudy, but we were not there for the sun we were there for the wind. Rick has been trying to get out and fly his kite more often so he can make it into the water this summer. He has been on a kick of wanting to be more active lately; I think his 28th birthday coming up on Monday has him worried about getting old.
Wyatt loves the beach too. He was exploring everywhere. Wyatt is fun at the beach as long as he has his binki in. Our philosophy is “Binki in, sand and other beach items out.”
Unfortunately Wyatt had other ideas and had both binkis sand covered which made keeping sand, seaweed, bottle caps, and other trash out of his mouth a full time job.
Needless to say Wyatt was able to taste some new items at the beach this weekend.
Saturday we were able to walk up and down the beach in great weather. We took Wyatt on the swings, which he loves.

Those are some great pictures! Looks like you had a great time. I can't wait to see pictures of Wyatt taking his first solo steps.
