The day after Clara was born (it was suppose to be the day before her scheduled induction) our visitors started arriving. Rick's parents came and took care of the boys while I finished out my hospital stay.
Here are Grandpa and Wyatt playing a little Kinect.
Everyone, minus me and Clara, took I hike to the Heublein Tower to enjoy Connecticut's fall foliage.
Some pretty handsome boys.
Aunt Tammi came out to meet baby Clara too.
The Shamos headed down to NYC for a few days and my mom arrived. It was slightly ironic that during the 12 hours we were "on our own" we had a leak in the newly finished basement ceiling, which was fixed quickly by Rick (thank heavens he was home that day) and I got REALLY sick. But we survived and my mom arrived to meet Clara. She had just gotten off a cruise and had a cold, so she insisted on wearing a mask to keep all the little kiddos around here healthy.
Both boys LOVE Clara! Owen always ask to "take it" meaning hold her. and I really need to video him holding her, he gives her the sweetest kisses and talks to her in the highest pitched voice it is pretty funny.
Grandma Cannon brought a bunch of crafts that the boys loved.
While we had visitors the boys and Rick went to our ward's trunk or treat. They were pretty cute and I was glad they at least got to use their costumes once, more on that later.
The day the Shamos came back from NYC it was Grandma Shamos birthday so GRandma Cannon helped the boys make her a Halloween birthday cake.

After the birthday celebration we lost power which was quite the ordeal that deserves it's own post.

I enjoyed being with your wonderful family. You have done a great job at raising your children so far. Clara is beautiful and a very good baby. Your dad and I look forward to seeing you soon for Clara's blessing.
Great story as well.
