Wyatt turned 5 on April 21st! Crazy! I love birthdays and I think Wyatt had a pretty fabulous day. He woke up and had strawberry waffles for breakfast.
Then is was gift time. What does every 5 year old need? A bike!

We had a pretty busy April so it worked out really well that Wyatt's birthday was during Spring Break so we had his party on the actual day. Wyatt requested a Batman theme and here is what we came up with. The invites were suppose to look like a comic book.
Rick had to hang up the pinata before he went to the hospital, here I am holding up the finished product, I will admit I was pretty proud of this year's final product.
The Cake.
I have learned that the best thing to have at a birthday party is a friend to take pictures. Kristin came and saved me by taking pictures of the big event, other wise I would have had none, I highly recommend it. We trained to be like Batman. First we dressed like batman in capes. Practiced our batarang skills. Ran an obstacle course.
Wyatt's favorite part of the party was throwing water balloons at Batman's arch-enemies.

Wyatt's favorite game is Duck, Duck, Goose so we modified it to Batman, Batman, Joker.
We practiced our fighting skills by punching balloons.
Then it was pinata time.

Presents
Blowing out the candles.
Mmmmm....cake!
Favors for his friends.
Wyatt got some birthday money from his grandparents so we headed to Toys R Us when Rick got home and Wyatt bought some nerf guns, he then spent the rest of the night battling with Rick.
Wyatt's birthday dinner of parma rosa.
To make the end of the day even better it was Wipeout night so he got to stay up and watch it. It was a great day and we are so glad Wyatt joined our family 5 years ago.
