Next up was the Animal Kingdom. It was a really neat park. The Safari was definitely the highlight. Getting ready to head out on the Safari.
Me, Owen, and an elephant.
Rick and a rhino, they were so close with no fences.
The Tree of Life. This was so neat, I watched an hour special on how it was made before we went and it did not disappoint.
Rick was a little wet after Kali River Rapids.
Tigers!
This picture is a little blurry, but it was during the ride Dinosaur. It was maybe a little scary for Wyatt, the whole time he was clinging to Rick. I think it is funny that he is hiding behind him in this picture.
The Boneyard.
We hung out at the Boneyard for awhile, while Rick was off riding Expedition Everest on his own. I did ride it once with him and it made me a little sick, a cast member actually asked me if I was going to be okay after, it definitely had a surprise element that I was not ready for.
Prepared for our second run on the River Rapids. Wyatt was willing to try all the rides, but didn't like the idea of getting wet even though it was SOOO HOT!
Everyone with the Tree of Life.
Perhaps my favorite moment of the trip. We took a train to the petting zoo and my Mom and Owen were surrounded by all the goats. It was pretty funny, check out the video at the end.
Nice shades!
The next day we were off to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Wyatt wanted to meet a few characters at Disney World and the Incredibles were some of them.
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground after the car stunt show. Wyatt LOVED the stunt show and is always telling his friends about the car that split in half and the motorcycle that drove through fire, he especially likes to point out that it really happened, it wasn't just pretend.
This is how we rolled.
The Great Movie Ride. Not the best picture but the funniest things happened on our ride. We rode through a gangster movie and our tram was taken hostage by a gangster. This really disturbed Wyatt especially when he shot out the red traffic light so we could keep going. Wyatt still asks why that man "shot traffic." I was impressed that the cast member stayed in character, Wyatt was pretty vocal about his fears.
Toy Story Mania, the best ride ever!
Totally worth the wait, with our fast passes that is.
Wyatt rode the Tower of Terror, not once, but twice. The second time Rick may have bribed him with some oreos, but still he went again. The ride in Florida is a little different that the one in California and I am going to say I liked it more. As the park was closing Rick and I ran around and rode it five times in about 20 minutes.
Leaving after a great day.
When we got home from the parks we had a great condo to come back to, it was bigger and nicer than our house, and an amazing deal.
Sunday was a true day of rest, we had breakfast on the porch,
and just enjoyed being together.
Wyatt took this shot of us at dinner.
And we were able to celebrate my birthday and Owen's birthday early with my parents.
Owen LOVES his new truck.
We even had a cake, my mom is a great planner.
I am hoping to have one more installment coming soon, until then enjoy the goat whisperer.
