Wyatt had a GREAT birthday on Wednesday! He woke up and his first request was for 2 gummy vitamins (the dosage increases when you are 4). He requested waffles, you cannot really tell, but his whip cream was a "W" and a "4."
We met our playgroup at the park and had a picnic.
Then we went to Baskin Robbins for his free birthday scoop. If you haven't already, you can sign your kids and yourself up here (and don't forget their 31 cent scoop night coming up on the 28th). Bubble gum was the flavor of choice.
Wyatt is also signed up for the Toys R Us birthday club so he had that money plus a gift card from Grandma and Grandpa Shamo so we spent the afternoon (at least two hours) wandering the store.
Owen was a trooper.
He finally picked a bubble lawnmower and some matchbox trucks. He spent the remaining hours of daylight mowing the backyard. Isn't spring in CT beautiful?
Rick came home and he opened presents.
For dinner he picked chicken nuggets,
and for his cake: chocolate with chocolate chips.
This video makes me laugh. We really had had no melt downs all day, but it had been really tiring. Anna came over for cake and Wyatt is reacting to her asking if she can help blow out the candles.
*We did relight them for Anna to have a chance with her piece.
