We went to Utah in January, because Rick has been on an anesthesia rotation that means no call and a little time off. I will post our trip in pictures because really that is my favorite part of blogs and I have a lot of them, which I could put in a slide show, but those don't show up in google reader and if you are anything like me you are also too lazy to go to the original source for all of them.
Have you every noticed I really like commas, and run on sentences?
Before we left Wyatt needed a haircut, which can only be accomplished with a sucker, but that doesn't combine with haircut well.

We met up with Marissa, Lucy, Jared, Jen, and Sam for lunch our first day.

Man, I really miss all our friends from UCLA!!!!

Karen trying blue steel, but no one can do it like Rick.

This is the somber look she mastered for all her bridal shots.
THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP!!!!!
The week we came to CT my sister started the process of adopting two boys. My sister and her husband finalized their adoption in December and while we were there they were sealed together by my grandpa. I cannot describe how sweet of an experience it was to be there. I feel so blessed to have been there.

Perhaps the sweetest moment of the whole trip was the first day we were there we got to meet the boys. Kail somehow got hurt (I think it was actually Wyatt) and started crying and ran straight to my sister while crying "Mommy." Kalvin is pretty cool, you can tell he doesn't like to be far from my sister and her husband.

Then is was time for a party, here is Greg with the special dip I made him.
Wyatt LOVED being with his cousins!

We visited my Grandma and Grandpa Cannon.

Rick, Clint, and my dad made the tallest tower of these blocks I have seen, it touched the ceiling with just a little help.

Wyatt with the marbles.

My dad was the constant jungle gym for Alicia and Liz.

I took pictures of Suzy, the photographer,

Suzy didn't always like it,

but she finally gave in.

We visited the Browns and played their Wii

while Wyatt took a nap with Kail in his bunk beds.

Then Wyatt went and played with Josh at the Halversons' new house

while Rick played more Wii with Isaac and Brigham.

We went to the apple store, where my mom got a new iMac.

Wyatt helped her set it up.

We built a bear

Rick fell asleep on the way home from building the bear, isn't he cute?

My mom drove us to the airport in her new car,

and we were off to Vegas for more adventures.
