1 Year: We were living in Stockton, CA while Rick was selling pest control for the third and final summer and I was working as a temp in the collections department of the Bank of Stockton, and at a dry wall tool company (Blue Line Dry Wall Tools to be exact) before our last year at the Y. For the actual day we drove out to the Oakland temple. (This picture is of us cutting the frozen top of our wedding cake, what you are suppose to do at 1 year, but we did it on our 6 month anniversary-which happens to be Valentine's Day- to make room in my parents freezer.)
2 Year: We were living in Rick's parents basement for the summer waiting for dental school to start. We were both working together at an environmental clean up site in Boulder City in full HAZMAT gear in the summer heat. The actual day was spent on the lake and at the Las Vegas temple.6 Year: So now here we are in our short term apartment in CT waiting to move into our first house. Rick is in his program and he have reached the half way point in his schooling; 6 years down 6 more to go. As for the actual day, Rick had to round early this morning and has a meeting tonight so it will be a late night for him most likely. Wyatt and I spent the morning at an orchard picking apples and peaches to hopefully make some kind of treat tonight for Rick.
Thanks for putting up with my walk down memory lane. I figure I better document them all before they all become like our 4 year anniversary-maybe it will still come back to me. I guess the most important thing is that every year we have been really happy together and we are still in love.
