On Saturday we had Wyatt's Birthday Party. The weather was great, it was in the nineties so we were glad to have the shade of the big tree. We had a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme, thanks to Chris for her photoshop skills in helping me make Wyatt's invitations.
Ashley made a sweet Mickey cake for Wyatt. She did such a great job, just look at how amazing it was. Thanks Ashley!
When Wyatt's guests arrived they got to make Mickey ears to get in the spirit of things.
Then there was a Mickey bean bag toss.
And pin the nose on Mickey.
Rick grilled up some hot diggity dogs.
The paper mache pinata I made held up through all the kids. Wyatt was the only one that didn't really hit it right, he kind of speared the pinata instead of giving it a good wack.
Ashley's cake was a big hit.
Wyatt has been so luck to have met so many fun friends during our time at the University Village, he will often ask me for his friends by name. I hope that we will be able to find a good group of friends for him out in Connecticut, but nothing will compare to walking out our front door and finding three or four of our friends on the playground, we are really going to miss that. A big thanks to everyone for coming and making Wyatt's party great!There were so many cute pictures from the day I couldn't help but post the rest of them in a slide show below. Rick got a picture of each child hitting the pinata, they are all so cute!

Okay- cutest birthday party ever! How much fun are you!? I love the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme- it's Ty's new favorite show (I always forget that we have the Disney Channel, so I forget to check and see what's on- but lately- Ty doesn't let me forget). I know there were only a couple pictures of you in the background- but you look so cute! Good luck on your upcoming move- you'll have to keep me updated- are you passing through Salt Lake at all?

I think I said this in the last post...but I'll say it again: You are the BEST MOM EVER! What a FUN party! We're sad that we missed it, but glad that you all had so much fun! You guys have been lucky to have such a great group of friends there!

Awe...we are so sad we missed it. I swear we were trying so hard, but we went to the UCLA book fair in the morning and then Sofia passed out and we couldn't wake the angel. Sorry Wyatt. We do have a little something for you that we need to give you! Cute cake!!
