It feels like Halloween lasted several weeks this year! We did have a great day. Britney and Brooke came out and spent the day with me and Wyatt while Rick was off interviewing at Columbia. Every Wednesday Wyatt and I go to 'Music Makers' and all the kids dressed up for Halloween so that started us off right. On Halloween night Wyatt made me the happiest by practically inhaling a bowl of chili. This was the best part of the day because Wyatt is the pickiest eater I know and NEVER, NEVER tries anything new and for once he did and he loved it. Thank Heavens we can now add something besides chicken nuggets to his diet. Then we were off Trick or Treating. We mainly went to friends houses. Wyatt had a bit of a moment when Carrie picked him up, but he loved all the candy, he has since become obsessed with suckers, which by the way are probably the messiest candy any toddler can get their hands on. Rick was able to catch an earlier flight home so I went and picked him up while Britney stayed and passed out candy at our house, we still have way too much left over. Rick was able to experience Halloween at a few houses since who knows what the next few years will mean to his availability on Halloween night.

The day before Halloween Wyatt painted a pumpkin, which he loves! I don't know if I will ever be able to throw it out he loves carrying it around all the time. My biggest fear is that he will be carrying it, then it slips and I have a smashed pumpkin in my living room, maybe I will throw it out right now.

Wyatt sounds like he had a great halloween. Halloween is such a great time for children.
I love to see you pictures and messages. You are a great Mom.
I am glad Rick made it back in time to experience trick or treating with Wyatt. That is great Wyatt likes chilli. It looks like he had a great time painting his pumpkin.
