Rick had yet another externship last month, this time to Vanderbilt (in Nashville), so Wyatt and I headed to Utah so we wouldn't be alone for two weeks. We had a great time and Wyatt seemed to remember Grandma and Grandpa so that was a plus. He also got to play with all of his cousins that he doesn't get to see very often.

The big event of the trip was going back down to "happy valley" for the BYU v. Air Force game. It was my first time back to BYU'c campus since graduating four years ago. I had mixed emotions, yes it was nice to be there (it would have been better if Rick had gone with me), but at the same time I kept thinking I am so glad I am done with that part of my life. Before the game we had a great tailgating party next to some pretty drunk Air Force cadets. The game was fun! Wyatt was a real trooper not crying once, he slept through the last half of the game which was quite remarkable considering it was pouring rain for the entire 4th quarter. BYU had a sound victory which always make a game better.

I also checked out the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum with my sister Chris and niece Liz. As we were walking back to the car Liz was holding Wyatt's hand while he tripped, he didn't get hurt at all, but I just thought this was a funny picture. Imust admit I was disappointed with the museum itself. If your kids are older I think it would be more fun, but the Ogden Treehouse Museum is much better for kids under six, plus it is cheaper which all of you know is a major selling point for me.

It was a great trip and we are getting excited to go back for Thanksgiving!

It was great to see you guys. The game was great and so was the children's museum. You have done such a cute job with the pictures.
Janae you and Christine are doing a great job with your blogging. It was so much fun to have you with us last month. We look forward to having the whole family together again at Thanksgiving time. I love what you have done with your blog.
I miss Utah. I'm so glad you were able to go.
P.S. I LOVE the Halloween themed blog! You gotta keep it up for all the holidays now!
I can't believe it has been that long since you've been to campus! It's hard to believe we're past that point of our lives!
It's late right now, so I'm quite giggly, and the pic of Wyatt when he tripped is making me laugh sooooooooo hard! It is a really funny picture!
Have you been to Lied's Discovery Museum in Vegas? I really like it, but I don't have anything to compare it to....
Nice work on the blog-it looks great! I suppose Rick is done with his externships now. Interviews should be rolling in anytime now, right? Good luck!
