Clara was blessed on December 4th, 2011. My parents came out for the event. My Dad got to meet Clara for the first time.
They brought with them an early Christmas gift, so now the basement is an even better place to hang out.

We really love any excuse to have family come visit. Grandpa is so good with kids, I think they spent hours with this train.
We made a trip to the library with Grandma and Grandpa.

A couple picture attempts before church. Rick's mom made Clara's dress for her. It was an amazing dress, coat, and bonnet. She was beautiful and it was nice to have the Shamos represented on her special day.
These big brothers love their little sister, even if Owen's face doesn't quite show it.

Driving to her blessing. This blanket was made by my Grandma Warner and now Wyatt, Owen, and Clara have been blessed with it.
Rick gave Clara a beautiful blessing. The main thing I remember him mentioning multiple times was that she would know that she is a loved daughter of God and she will have a close relationship with her Savior and her Heavenly Father. She slept through the entire thing.
We had a party celebrating her afterwards with family and friends.
