December

This year Rick has had a little free time during the holidays so we finally got around to putting up some lights on our house. We have been really disappointed in CT in years past, people really don't put lights up out here, they put single candles in their windows for Christmas lights, but this year has seemed different people have been stepping up, at least in our neighborhood, good job CT.

Wyatt helped Rick with our lights.
Wyatt has been appreciating the basement, even though it is not complete, it is now his movie theatre. Nothing puts you in the spirit like a little 3D Polar Express right?
The official lighting of our house.
Owen had his 1 year check up and got 4 shots, he was not a fan of that,
but he is a fan of laying under the Christmas tree with Dad. I don't know if I have mentioned it on this blog, but Owen is a total Daddy's boy, if Rick is around he doesn't really want anything to do with me, he will head straight for Dad.
We went the mall and met Santa. Wyatt asked for a two wheel scooter. Santa told him to color him a picture and leave it out on Christmas Eve, I have been reminded several times that we still need to do that.
Owen did not like Santa, even though he was the nicest Santa I have ever met.
Adding a Big Brother didn't help him calm down.
After Santa we rode the carousel at the mall, Wyatt looks exactly like I feel on those things.
Wyatt had a party at the preschool he attends at our local high school. Here he is with two of his high school student teachers. He really loved both Brie and George, he worked really hard to make them Christmas gifts for this party.

Santa was received better at our ward party. Wyatt again asked for a two wheel scooter.
After meeting Santa I found Wyatt sitting all alone at this table while all the other kids were running around. He had prepared himself a full plate of desserts and he stayed there and consumed them all. Silly boy.
