So I know for most people school started a couple months ago, but for Wyatt he had orientation last Friday and his first full day is today. He is going to a program run by the high school near our house two days a week for three hours a day.
He has been really excited, and ran the entire way there.
Rick was heading to school, but wanted to drop him off so he followed us in his car. We did learn the valuable piece of information that Wyatt can only run between 2 and 5 mph.
Heading into school with dad. He really wanted this backpack because it was yellow just like his dad's.
After class all was still going well.
My sister, Karen, has been here for a week, and Wyatt is in love. I often feel bad for people when they come to visit because Wyatt attaches himself and doesn't give you a lot of personal space. Brandon is in Alaska for two weeks so Karen came out to CT to see us and the new baby, she has washed and organized all our baby clothes and now we are really ready. It is really weird to think that the baby will be here before she leaves. Her goal is to send me into labor today, but we will see how that one works out. We have tried to show Karen what CT has to offer, but have had some crazy experiences. We did make shoes and the CT Historical Society.
And Karen proved she could keep up with the CT children of the 1800s in a bobbin factory. There was also the crazy trip to the Noah Webster house.
Karen was here for my actual birthday and made me a great cake.
In other news we are having a baby this week. At my doctors appointment last week they did an ultra sound and found that the baby was already 8 lbs 7 oz and has steadily been gaining 1/2 lb a week so that makes me a little nervous. If nothing happens in the next couple of days I am being induced at 7 am on Thursday before this little guy can get any bigger. My mom is coming in tomorrow night and then I think we will be as ready as we can be for the arrival of the baby. I am a little worried about how Wyatt will respond to his first week of school and a new brother all in the same week, but mainly we are just really excited.

Wyatt is sure growing up!! Janae you look like your ready to have that baby! Good luck this week.
I just love the picture of you and Wyatt and your bellies! You will do just fine! Lily was 9lbs3oz and a week late. My doctor wouldn't induce earlier than that because it was my first! She was big! We cant wait to see pictures of the new Shamo!
I hope everything goes well with your induction on Thursday. I am going in on Friday to have a C-Section so we will both be in the hospital at the same time with our new little ones! Crazy!
Brynlee is so jealous that Wyatt gets to go to school. She was looking at his pictures saying "I'm going to go to school too!"
