So I have been way behind on blogging so you can expect a large number of posts in the next few days, hopefully. Before we left for the break I took a little trip to Burbank to see Ellen. Jackie and I had been watching the website for weeks and the morning her 12 days of giveaway tickets came up we were online signing up. We got standby tickets for Dec. 13th. After talking to some friends who had gone the day before we decided to go wait in line at 3:00 am, CRAZY I know. Believe it or not we were not even close to the front of the line. We froze our tails off until 5:30 when blessed Carlos came and gave us numbers so we could go home until the taping started. We still didn't make it into the show but we did go to the riff raff room where we got all the prizes the audience did, we got to leave early, and we get to go back to be in the audience in February. So you can see one of my lovely prizes. We got a Gucci bag, Calvin Klein sunglasses, a $150 spa gift card, and a head and shoulders gift box, total value $1100 so not a bad days work. I am keeping most everything except the Gucci bag which has already been sold on ebay. It was a fun day and I am grateful to Jackie for putting up with all my nervous anxiety about getting in.

I use to watch Ellen all the time until they changed her show to the afternoons here. How fun to go and get the giveaways!!! I thought those tickets would be impossible to get. Way to perservere!
