So this is my first time posting anything to the blog. That’s mainly because Janae says I’m not allowed. She has made an exception in this case but has limited me to exclusively talking about the new boat.

It’s pretty great and I’m pretty sure that it’s #3 on the most important events of my life.

It’s a 21’ (20’9”) 2004 Mastercraft X10 wakeboard edition with 350 HP and only 80 hrs. In comparison to our old boat (2000 Moomba Mobius), its 3 inches longer, but has more horsepower, more ballast, and it has a deeper V, so it rides a lot smoother on rough water. The X10 also sits higher out of the water and so it doesn’t take on water.

The ride is amazing, which may be partly due to the Perfect Pass® system that keeps the speed steady so all you do is steer the boat. The other part of that could be the wakeboard that came with it. The 140cm Liquid Force Balance with CWB Zeus bindings gives the smoothest, most predictable ride I’ve ever had.

Another key feature is the Clarion sound system that you can actually hear while you’re out wakeboarding.
Janae's 2 cents:So, just to set the record straight I have never stopped Rick from posting on the blog it is highly encouraged from me. I don't think I have ever seen Rick as happy as when he saw that boat, he told me it was the 3rd happiest day of his life after our wedding and the birth of Wyatt, but that may have been to spare my feelings I really think it was number one. Rick was so happy about the boat I really thought he was about to cry over the shear joy of it all.
On Monday I saw the sun rise and set on the boat, if that can clue you in to Rick's feelings/obsession.

RICK!! You must be in heaven!
It looks like you guys had so much fun! Congrats on the new boat.... Is that the right word? You said it ranked up there with marriage and a baby, so I guess it would work. :) May you have many wonderful wakeboarding experiences.
It iseasy to see Ricks joy. J.T. got off the phone with him and said it sounded like Christmas! We are so happy for your new blessing Rick:)
Hey Rick,
Clint here, just wanted to say congrats on the new boat, it looks really sweet! We'll have to really blast the sound system next time we all get together with an old budge hall classic. and i'd love to take a ride on the new wake board, i need to get thrown around a little bit, i'm getting too soft.
Hope all is well with school and hopefully i'll see you guys again shortly after i get boards out of the way.
CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! My jaw dropped when I saw the boat. Heck, you getting that boat was #2 on the most important days of MY life! (My kid has yet to be born so the boat will be pushed back to #3 soon.) Go wakemonkeys!
Wow! This boat looks sweet. Question: what kind of inclcreses are to be expecting for the "boat fund"? :)
Also I cant wait to use the PerfectPass system. I have only used Bayliner's MarginalPass system and it was just OK.
Just like a little kid at Christmas! And I can believe the comments on Janae protecting the blog.
